Owl(s) Hooting

This beautiful, Christian man was born July 5, 1986 and began creating music in his parents' basement in Owatonna, Minnesota since he could remember. He suffers from insomnia, but he uses that as a strength for his music.

Just like any other sane aspired musician tries to become famous, he was first spotted upon myspace. Launcing his first album Of June which peaked at #16 on the charts, who then signed a contract with Universal Republic.

Following Of June came Maybe I'm Dreaming, Ocean Eyes and All Things Bright and Beautiful. He is involved in a few side projects as well, including Sky Sailing, Port Blue as well as a photography.

With inspiration from his fans, fellow singer and song writers, his travels and of course God, he sings and writes his heart out to every beat.

I think it’s my imagination more than anything else. I’m an only child. I’m a pretty introverted guy, and I’m from a small town in Minnesota. My parents never did the extravagant vacation thing, so everything for me existed more or less in my imagination. I always write songs from, ‘If I were here, would I do this?’ Everything stems from my imagination. My whimsical approach is inspiring for the lyrics. I just allow my mind to wander.
